at Kal's Steak house in Drayton Valley and everyone is invited. They will fire
up both Alky Floppers and make some noise. The BBQ will be smoking and refreshments

| The Sekura
Bros. Race team are relatively new in the Funny Car ranks, but they have made
a splash in just three short years. Successful business men during the 9 to 5,
they love to let loose on the weekends. Having raced bracket cars Monster trucks
and everything in between, they got the serious Drag Racing bug just a couple
years ago. Ron was the first to drive, and it was hard for him to give Corey the
steering wheel at the very next event. Corey was hooked as well. It was only natural
(they are brothers afterall) that they would race in the same class and travel
together, but on the track they like nothing better than to outdo each other.
If Corey goes 1000 feet on his burnout Ron will make it 1100 feet the next run.
It got to the point where they decided why not just go side by side for close
to 1320 feet, or the entire 1/4 mile. They put on such a great show last year
at the Rocky's, that the President of the IHRA (Aaron Polburn) made notice of
their exploits in an issue of the "Drag Review". To get mentioned by
the 'boss' at an event where the class was not one of the regular professional
classes, must have meant they had made an impact. Back
